Anna Leeman Strickler

Anna married Hans Junghans Hiestand, son of Jung Hans Hiestand and Verena Aeppli, on 6 Aug 1672 in Richterswil, Zurich, Switzerland. (Hans Junghans Hiestand was born in 1629 in Richterswil, Zurich, Switzerland ⁶⁹⁶, christened on 21 Mar 1630 in Richterswil, Zurich, Switzerland ⁶⁷⁶ and died about 1688.)

  Marriage Notes:

On 9 April 1698, Hans Strickler and wife Antie (Anna) were among a list of people leaving the Frederichstadt Church for Ibersheim in the Palatinite. Also on this list were Hans Jacob Hiestand and wife. Other members of the family stayed behind. They left in response to the Ryswick Treaty which in the fall of 1697 brought a temporary peace to the Palatinate.(2)

So we know the Stricklers left for Ibersheim in April 1698. They probably arrived there in late 1698.
