• Notes of Interest. ³⁸⁹ On 10 Oct 1630, Lady Maria van Herwijnen, widow of Lord Walraven van Hemert, 72 years of age, Merten Jansen Sterck, 80 years of age, and Wouter Otten, 74 years of age, testify on request of Abraham Gijbertsen, inhabitant of Herwijnen, that Marie Alarts, wife of Gijsberts Goirtsen, Bruysten Alarts, during his life living in Rumpt, Dirk Alerts, during his living in Gorinchem, and Beert Alarts, former wife of Aert Athoniessen, were four brothers and sisters, children of Alert Dircxsen and his wife Aricken. The four children were all born in Herwijnen and brought up at their parents' homestead, which is now owned by Abraham Gijsbertsen.
