• Emigration, 1893. She was nine years old when she emigrated. • Physical Description: Tall and slim, strong physical build, wore hair in long braids that she wore wrapped in a bun. She was a very hard worker. • Hobbies: enjoyed working in a big garden. She canned everything from her garden. • Hobbies: baking. She enjoyed baking Krullers which was a German donut. Baking day was every Saturday. She would make Krullers and fruit soup. They would come to town (Fort Collins) to go shopping. They always had to be dressed up when they came to town. Henry could come to town in overalls.
