Henry (Heinrich) L. Hoff

  Noted events in his life were:

• Religion: the Plymouth Congregation Church. The men would sit on one side of the aisle and the women sat on the other side.

• lived: Timnath. The poudre River ran through their farm. They would go swimming in the Poudre River. Henry placed a marker to indicate when they would have to evacuate incase the river got to high. One year the river was creeping up toward the marker. They couldn't go to bed until he said it was okay. Finally, late at night the river started receding and they could go to bed.

• description: was of sturdy build, dark brown hair.

Henry married Elizabeth Anna Bauer, daughter of Conrad Bauer Sr. and Katharina Margaretha Stroh, on 16 Mar 1906 in Geneva, Fillmore, Nebraska, USA. (Elizabeth Anna Bauer was born on 5 Dec 1886 in Frank, Saratov, Russia and died in 1974 in Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado.)
