Anna Hediger

• Misc: name. The name originated in Rupperswil in the canton of Aargau. Frederick Hediger came over from Switzerland when he was 11 years old along with his father, John Jacob Hediger.

Hediger was adopted by a noble called Hohenstauffen. He had a province called La Souabe. His uncle, I think, a Habsbourg tried to attack him in order to rob him from his province. Hohenstauffen killed him and escaped. After having received the absolution from the Pope, he went to Switzerland and changed his name to Hediger (genforum.gnealogy.com/hediger/messages)

Anna married Hans Jacob Klemmer, son of Frantz Klemmer and Adelheit Byekel, about 1604. (Hans Jacob Klemmer was born in 1580 in Affoltern, Am Amblis, Zürich, Switzerland ^{729,730,731,734} and died about 1633 in Zurich, Switzerland.)
