Henry Manweller

• Occupation: lumberman. He worked in a lumber yard.

• Physical Description: Blond hair, broad shouldered, strongly built, very athletic, blue eyes.

• Property: a gas station: Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado. He met a man name Fanning while fishing along the Poudre who wanted to go in on a gas station. Henry joined him in this venture.

• Moved, 1929, Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA. They had just gotten married and it was the depression. Henry and Margaurite moved to Chicago, Illinois because he couldn't find a mechanic position in Fort Collins. He had three job offers. He worked as a mechanic until he was overpowered by carbon monoxide. He was told by his doctor to leave the mechanic occupation, so they moved back to Fort Collins.

On the way to Chicago they were in a terrible rain storm. they came to a bridge that was flooded about 2-3 inches. Henry got out of the car to take a look and decided the bridge would hold them. They found out the next day that the bridge had collapsed during the night.

Henry married Marguerite Hoff, daughter of Henry (Heinrich) L. Hoff and Elizabeth Anna Bauer, on 14 Feb 1929 in Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado. (Marguerite Hoff was born on 23 Mar 1907 near Wellington, Larimer County, Colorado, died in 2004 in Idaho Springs, Clear Creek, Colorado, USA and was buried in 2004 in Grandview Cemetary, Fort Collins, Larimer, Colorado, USA.). The cause of her death was Heart Failure.
