Bartolomeas married Maria Dewitt, daughter of Cornelis Dewitt and Beatrix Van Slingelandt. (Maria Dewitt was born about 1520 in Dordrecht, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands, died about 1540 and was buried in St. Jacob's Chapel.)
