  Noted events in her life were:

• Notes of Interest. ⁵⁰ The Hitz name is commonly found among Anabaptists records. The family is well established in the United States beginning with Sebastian Hitz who arrived in Pennsylvania on October 1, 1770. He came with other German immigrants on the ship Minerva

• Persecuted. We were an Anabaptists family that experienced much persecution. In fact, we spent a lot of our married life separated from each other while Hans was either in prison or exiled to Ibersheim, Rheinland-Pfalz

• lived, 1654. ⁶⁹⁴ My son Michael and I lived at the home of my husband's brother, Joseph Reiff in Zweierhof, Wadenswil, Switzerland

• lived, 1670. ⁶⁹⁵ My 4 children and I continue to live with Joseph Reiff and his wife Anna Hiestand in Wadenswil, Zurich, Switzerland

• Moved, After 1670. Our family was finally able to join Hans Heinrich in Ibersheim.

Anna married Hans Heinrich Reiff, son of Jagli Jacob Reiff and Annali Tanner, on 9 Mar 1651 in Wadenswil, Switzerland.⁶⁹⁰ (Hans Heinrich Reiff was born on 12 Mar 1622 in Wadenswil, Zurich, Switzerland ⁶⁷³, christened on 19 Mar 1622 and died after 1689 in Ibersheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.)
