Nancy Jane Scott

  Noted events in her life were:

• Baptism, After 15 Dec 1787.

• Misc. I am looking for any descendants of Abraham TRUAX (1782-1849) and Jane SCOTT (1787-1880). They and some of their children moved from Quebec to Mersea and Romney Twps., Ontario around 1835.

Aside from wanting to get in touch, I am hoping to find anyone who might have any old photographs of Jane SCOTT or any of her children. She seems to have been quite a remarkable lady, and I would very much like to know what she looked like.

Check: - notorial records (Chaboillez?) for death of John Scott (Oct. 1796), guardianship of Jane to Dorcas and Joseph Higgins (aft. 1799), land transfer (1801, Noyan?), etc. - Noyan church records for baptism (aft. Dec. 15, 1787), marriage (1800-1806)

Nancy married Abraham Truax, son of Abraham Jacobse Truax and Elizabeth Van Antwerp, about 1806 in Quebec, Canada. (Abraham Truax was born on 16 Jun 1782 in Schenectady, New York and died on 28 Mar 1849 in Mersea Township, Essex County, Ontario, Canada.)
