Hendrick married Geertje Claesen Dewitt, daughter of Dr. Nicholas Claes Dewitt and Taatje Cornelisz Van Leuven, on 26 Feb 1655. (Geertje Claesen Dewitt was born about 1636 in Groatholdt, East Friesland.)
