Abraham married Elizabeth Gearhardt before 1849. (Elizabeth Gearhardt was born in 1807 and died in 1849.)

Abraham next married Christina Metzler in 1851 in Mahoning County, Ohio. (Christina Metzler was born on 30 Jan 1832 in Mahoning County, Ohio, died on 19 Oct 1910 ¹⁶¹ and was buried in North Lima Mennonite Cemetery, Wayne County, Ohio.)

  Marriage Notes:

They had 6 sons and 4 daughters. Her father was David Metzler and her mother was Marie Witmer. Christina was born January 30, 1832 in Mahoning County, Ohio. She died October 19, 1910 in Wayne County, Ohio. She is buried in North Lima mennonite Church. Following Abraham's death she married John Shoup.
